Following the initial processing steps, the subdivision of hair lengths commences. This involves delicately loosening the braids and meticulously dividing the hair based on its length. By maintaining this uniform direction, we obtain bundles of hair with precise and uniform lengths necessary for crafting various wig models.

The duration of the process varies depending on the desired colour outcome. For instance, achieving wigs with light blonde hair entails subjecting the originally dark hair—usually brown or brunette—to a progressive depigmentation process that can span several days. In severe cases, the scalp can become affected, leading to lifting and detachment of the hair follicles.
